About Us:We are a large and vibrant restaurant located in the South of Johannesburg. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join our team, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining high service standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring the dining experience is seamless.
  • Manage bar stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and ensure proper ordering of supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and quality products.
  • Train and mentor staff on customer service, restaurant policies, and health & safety standards.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the bar, kitchen and back-of-house staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.
  • Manage reservations, walk-ins, and large group bookings.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a front-of-house management role within the restaurant industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven experience in managing bar stock and liaising with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems on the go.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems is an advantage.
