Meridian Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our Brackenfell team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the companys financial success by ensuring effective credit management and strong client relationships. Responsibilities include:

  • Daily upload and import of receipts into the ERP system.
  • Accurately allocate receipts.
  • Process Trading Agreement discounts.
  • Communicate with customers with regards to expected payments. Continuously follow up to ensure outstanding debt is collected timeously.
  • Manage claims.
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of customers accounts.
  • Cashflow forecast.
  • Monthly upload of statements for Chain store customers.
  • Follow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.
  • Plan and prioritize, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands.
  • Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organizational needs.

Requirements and Experience:

  • FMCG experience.
  • Managing Shoprite and/or Pick n Pay accounts. 3+ years experience.
  • Sound knowledge of stock and price claims.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized environment.
  • Prioritization skills.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
