We are looking for a Maintenance Technician for our unit in Pretoria, South Africa: RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Development of all preventive maintenance activities defined in the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan;
  • Carry out maintenance acitivities curative requested by other departments, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities;
  • Make the correct changes of format cutting, filtering and screening machines for the preparation of fruits;
  • Carry out periodic lubrication defined in the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan;
  • Ensure the proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities after any intervention;
  • Carry out start-ups and ensure propoer working of equipment and facilities;
  • Monitoring of all acitivities from outside companies for requested services;
  • Fufill the Job Cards of each preventive or curative maintenance intervention;
  • Completion of records changes made to the preparation of fruit machines;
  • Report to the supervisors any anomaly delected in equipment and facilities;
  • General housekeeping and cleaning maintenance workshop and working tools;
  • General cleaning of boiler room, compressor room, generator, compressor cages and paraffin bund and recording of above mentioned in cleaning schedule;
  • Carry out daily checklist and ensure issues are reported to your superiors and repaired;
  • Carry out weekly scare verification and calibration;
  • Carry out inspections on lifting equipment and ensuring battery levels are sufficient;
  • Ensuring stock is accounted for on Job card and stock levels are reported regularly to your superior;
  • Performing stock takes as requested by Maintenance Manager;
  • Record daily comsuption of water, gas and energy;
  • Responsible for managing the waste generated in the activities associated with maintenance;
  • Performing standby as per shift schedule;
PROFILE
  • Minimum N2 Qualified Millwright;
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in similar functions;
  • Good knowledge in MS Office tools;
  • Solution-oriented and proactive way of working;
  • Good communication skills;
