Intercare Corporate Services, situated in Menlyn, Pretoria, seeks to recruit a Data Analyst. The primary focus of this role is to collect, clean, transform, and conduct statistical analyses on large datasets to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making across all divisions.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

  • Collect, clean, and manage data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and interpret data to support patient care improvements and business growth.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to track key performance indicators.
  • Build predictive models for forecasting patient volumes, revenue, and resource utilisation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, finance, and operational teams to address data challenges and provide strategic insights.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy laws (e.g., POPIA) and maintain data security.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, DAX (Power BI), Python/R, and data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a pressurised environment.
  • Code 8 drivers license and own transport (occasional travel required).
