Exciting opportunity for a Telesales/Internal Sales Consultant, with 3-4 years internal sales and telesales experience, ideally someone who thrives on dealing with clients and do not mind face-to-face client interaction and conducting telesales. Preference to experience in the Print/Stationery/FCMG industry. Self-confident, highly motivated, high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required. Ability to converse in English and Afrikaans essential. Own transport with a valid Drivers license is non-negotiable. Matric non-negotiable.

Salary: R12K - R18K Basic (Medical Aid and pension fund)

Type: Permanent - Onsite

Area: Midrand

Responsibilities

  • Meeting sales and profit targets by making sales, capturing orders, dealing with irate clients on occasion, filing, liaising with Purchasing, Credit Control and Warehouse, confirming deadlines, and following up.
  • Prospecting
  • Maintenance and growth of an existing client base by selling additional products, and cold calling.
  • Assisting management and staff regarding the processing of orders, completion of tenders and general assistance in the sales function
  • General sales administration, capturing orders, processing invoices
  • General administration support to the sales team
  • Dealing with irate clients on occasion
  • Liaising with Purchasing, Credit Control and Warehouse, confirming deadlines, and following up.
  • Maintenance and growth of an existing client base by selling additional products, and cold calling.
  • Assisting management and staff regarding the processing of orders, completion of tenders and general assistance in the sales function

Requirements

  • Minimum Matric (6 Subjects)
  • Some Print/Stationery/FMCG experience
  • ONLY 3-4 years previous Sales experience (Internal & External)
  • Tertiary qualification an advantage
  • Bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
  • Residing in and around the Midrand-area
  • Self-confident and highly motivated
  • Drivers license and own reliable transport is required
  • Be confident travelling to and calling on clients in the industrial areas
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
