Casidra is seeking to recruit a Civil Engineering Graduate to plan, design and facilitate projects for beneficiaries through government and private sector funding.

The successful candidate will report to the Programme Manager: Environmental Sustainability.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Plan, design and draw civil construction plans
  • Liaise with specialised companies regarding technical specifications and product information
  • Quality control on all civil, mechanical, electrical and structural construction works
  • Quantity surveying and costing
  • Identify, assess, report and manage risks
  • Enforce Occupational Health and Safety on all projects
  • Procurement
  • Cash flow management
  • Continuous evaluation and quality control of projects
  • Administration and record - keeping
  • Compilation of quarterly and completion reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • An Advance Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering
  • A Project Management qualification would be advantageous
  • Previous experience in an in a civil construction environment would be advantageous
  • Excellent understanding of the MS Office Package
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Problem-solving and good analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask & use Initiative
  • Positive attitude
  • A valid Code B drivers license
