ABOUT THE ROLE

The Employer Delivery Team Leader role is a pivotal position within our organization, designed to ensure the seamless execution of projects and the effective management of our Employer Delivery team. This role exists to drive excellence in project delivery, foster strong employer partner engagement, and support the development and cohesion of the team. As the Employer Delivery Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational and administrative activities, ensuring that all project progress and outcomes are properly tracked and reported. You will play a crucial role in motivating and supporting your team to achieve targets, while fostering a high-performance culture. Additionally, you will partner with the Employer Delivery Senior Manager to lead the Employer Delivery environment with a focus on employee engagement and productivity. This role requires a proactive, agile, and flexible approach to work, as you will be managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring delivery excellence.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • PROJECT DELIVERY
  • Manage the day-to-day operational and administrative activities of the Employer Delivery team.
  • Support with the allocation of team members on projects that land in the Employer Delivery Teams space.
  • Support daily management of delivery requirements, including:
  • Data management and good quality monitoring and reporting.
  • Capacity and resource management.
  • Quality assurance management.
  • Anything else required to ensure project delivery runs successfully.
  • Ensure that all project progress and outcomes are properly tracked, using the tools and frameworks provided (i.e. HubSpot tickets, deals and dashboards; Excel trackers).
  • Support all team members to drive excellent employer partner engagement.
  • Support with project delivery and coordination, including end-to-end project management on complex projects that land in the Employer Delivery space.
  • Ensure delivery excellence by providing support to your team and escalating any issues timeously.
  • Motivate and support the team to achieve targets while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure project targets are managed and met. This includes projects you are leading, as well as projects that your team are working on.
  • Ensure a proactive, agile and flexible approach to work, understanding that sometimes you might be working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Lead the team with effective time management and good communication.

  • Be able to present most relevant value proposition to employer partners joining the network and our own team members.
  • Be able to facilitate and/or support change management story-telling with legacy employer partners.
  • Be able to present and facilitate SA Youth functionality demo.
  • PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
  • Partner with the Employer Delivery Senior Manager in leading the Employer Delivery environment with a focus on employee engagement, ensuring productivity and team cohesiveness.
  • Drive and support people and formal processes in partnership with the Employer Delivery Senior Manager and the People Team as required.
  • Partner with the Employer Delivery Senior Manager on team development needs whilst recognising the agility and fluidity of the Employer Delivery space.
  • Ongoing focus on recognition of individuals in the team to support engagement.

  • This includes but is not limited to strategic projects identified by leadership and/or the Employer Delivery Senior Manager in alignment with business vision and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Formal education degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years - project management, data management, team management experience is essential.
  • Project management skills, with ability to prioritise, pivot and problem solve based on daily project needs and change requirements.
  • Team coordination and employee engagement.
  • Communication skills with a strong collaborative approach.
  • Ability to apply broad knowledge of products, techniques and processes.
  • Ability to evaluate and apply previous experiences to new scenarios / procedures.
  • Alignment to Harambee values and mission of hiring for inclusivity.
  • Comfort with using / learning technology and new systems / tools.
  • Comfort with handling / learning data and building reports, to drive good project management, monitoring, quality assurance and reporting.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
