The Motus Retail Marketing division has a Specialist: Brand Communication opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced marketing professional. The Specialist: Brand Communication shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the marketing and brand activities for the Retail division.

Specific Role ResponsibilitiesBrand Management:
- Assist with the implementation and coordination of the Motus Retail divisions marketing strategy in all respects.
- Control, coordinate, and manage brand and corporate identity (CI) elements, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Manage internal communication of marketing activities to ensure alignment and engagement.
- Liaise with agencies, ensuring timely follow-ups on briefs and project timelines.
- Provide general support across the marketing function, from administration to implementation and the provision of sales fulfillment material.
- Conduct competitor analysis on brand positioning, technical offerings, sales, promotions, ATL activities, and pricing to identify market opportunities.
- Collaborate with the internal marketing team, advertising, and media agencies to execute strategic initiatives.
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing program, including ATL communication, to solidify Motus Retails brand positioning in the marketplace.
Marketing & Communication:
Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and broader marketing team, assist in the planning, creation and management of:
- Engaging content for websites, social media, email marketing, and other digital platforms.
- Advertising campaigns and marketing performance, using insights to refine strategies.
Administration:
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key suppliers, internal stakeholders, and partners to facilitate seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
- Overseeing the existing general administrative functions within the department:
- Administration and prudent management of marketing budget.
- Control of quotes, purchase orders, invoices, cheque requisitions, and petty cash. Follow-up on payment, where required.
- Manage overall email and telephonic marketing requests, delegating tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate and oversee general administrative tasks, ensuring smooth departmental operations.
- Research and introduce new marketing trends, tools, and innovations to enhance brand engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A recognised tertiary Marketing qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of marketing, advertising or relevant industry experience.
- Experience in social media content production.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Ads.
- Strong background in digital marketing.
