RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to senior management
  • Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and the board of directors
  • Manage the companys cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds
  • Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting
  • Manage the companys tax planning and compliance
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Work closely with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for decision-making
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the companys financial practices are in line with current standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree/diploma in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in finance with 2 + years in a similar role
  • Proven ability to lead a medium size team of +-10
  • Construction and Property finance experience highly advantageous

SKILLS

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
