We are seeking a dedicated and career-focused paraplanner with relevant qualifications and a strong desire to grow in lifestyle financial planning, working closely with our Financial Planner and Administration Assistant to develop financial plans, build client relationships, and refine our financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting comprehensive financial plans
  • Model financial scenarios using the businesss financial planning tools and processes
  • Prepare for client annual forward planning and review meetings
  • Delegate and oversee administrative duties handled by the Administration Assistant
  • Perform time-sensitive and essential administrative tasks
  • Liaise with clients, ensuring excellent service and communication
  • Attend client planning meetings (where feasible based on workload)
  • Assist in refining and enhancing our financial planning and advice process
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of tasks and processes
  • Support marketing efforts to grow our business presence

Competencies & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
  • Experience with IRESS XPlan (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and highly accurate
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2+ years of experience working closely with a financial planner or advisor in a wealth management/financial planning environment
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in financial planning
