A leading ad agency seeks to hire a junior Zulu Copywriter. The role is hybrid, but you work from the office 4 days a week in Johannesburg.

This role requires a strong command of grammar and style, as well as desire to create processes that help non-writers easily access and implement accurate messaging.

The successful candidate must be passionate about writing and editing short- and longer-form copy, proofreading final assets and maintaining style guides and general brochure content.

Ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent and compelling messages.

Ability to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise effectively.

Requirements:

  • ± 2 years of professional copywriting experience in a marketing, digital or ad agency is a must-have.
  • Strong editing and writing skills.
  • Experience writing and editing both short- and long-form.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent.
