Role The main purpose of this role is to process booking from the time of Booking Request receipt, sent by the Customer to the Agent, until the Booking Confirmation is sent by the Agent to the Customer. Core Responsibilities: Integrate EDI & INTRRA, Capture Manual Bookings within one (1) hour Responsible for all bookings received from customers for South Africa Check and validate space on vessel and equipment availability stock prior to confirming booking (same applies to special equipment) Update journey legs as per routing finder Monitor and arrange Export Carrier Haulage Confirming all bookings as appearing in Navis as per Lara Manage and confirm all OOG bookings Confirming HAZ approval in Lara for all journey legs Auto freighting of all bookings Send booking confirmations within one (1) hour Rectify bookings with errors Organise and provide Plum Sheet and COT Sheen to Ocean team in regards to Reefer bookings Any other reasonably required request in line with the operational requirements of the business Skills and Qualifications Grade 12 qualification Diploma / Degree - with shipping maritime focus will be an added advantage Good communication skills Good administration skills Personal Attributes Able to work under pressure Able to adhere to strict deadlines Come along on CMA CGMs adventure !
