As Business Director for Advertising & Marketing you will oversee all aspects of a companys marketing & advertising teams.

Salary: R75 000 - R85 000 negotiable on experience and qualifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Budget Management:

• Manage marketing and advertising budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and ROI.
• Work with relevant parties to deliver financial targets and control costs

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a team of marketing and advertising professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Innovation & Creativity:

• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and drive innovation in marketing and advertising approaches.

Brand Management:

• Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Sales Alignment:

• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure marketing and sales efforts are aligned and focused on achieving common goals.
• Lead and manage creative teams in campaign planning and execution
• Collaborate with clients to understand their advertising needs and objectives
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and partners
• Create reports and presentations to communicate campaign results to stakeholders
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging advertising technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in advertising or a similar role.
• Proven track record of managing successful advertising campaigns.
• Proficiency in advertising software and tools.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign performance data.
• Experience with digital marketing and social media advertising.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.
