The Marketing Manager is responsible for formulating, adapting, and executing a Marketing Strategy to ensure sales growth and profitability across the various channels aligned with the company strategy. Also responsible to formulate, adapt and execute a Communication Strategy that will work across all levels and departments within the organisation to shape the companys outward image, and internally to increase employee commitment to the companys goals and values as well as foster brand advocacy.

Minimum Requirements

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor of Commerce or higher
  • 7 - 10 years of Marketing experience
  • Proven record of successful Brand Management (campaigns)
  • Computer Literate (Microsoft)
  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport.
  • Willing to travel and sleep out.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good presentation skills

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work with an external Marketing Consultant to analyse the brand positioning, consumer / customer insights, market trends and competitor activities.
  • Responsible for the Marketing budget and to determine the ROI of Marketing Campaigns.
  • Design and maintain the Intranet Marketing page.
  • Design and edit the quarterly internal newsletter.
  • Run Internal communication campaigns.
  • Coordinate long service awards.
  • Assist the CEO with PR
  • Keep Marketing Assets updated and refreshed.
  • Work with external professionals (designers/installers/suppliers)
  • Develop marketing and communication strategy (including digital marketing) with Director & consultants.
  • Develop and manage the execution of an annual calendar for marketing, branding, and events activities.
  • Research (NPD/Market analysis/consumer/customer analysis)
  • Brand Owner / Brand Management (Brand strategy & development)
  • Collaborate with Sales team - develop & execute trade marketing plans.
  • Work with external professionals (designers/installers/suppliers) in executing promotions & campaigns.
  • Support Supreme Brand in African Operations
  • General advertisements (SAPA)
  • Product Packaging
  • Trade shows & Promotions
