Disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Achieve project objectives (quality, time, and budget) in collaboration with the Group Procurement and Engineering Manager. Proactively manage the availability and utilization of water and electricity. Ensure optimal performance of plant and equipment, safeguarding patient safety. Reduce failure rates, minimize downtime, and extend the life expectancy of facilities, plant, and equipment Manage asset registers, track breakdowns, and ensure timely repairs. Oversee end-of-life assessments and decommissioning of facilities and equipment. Manage the internal and external compliance audits, ensuring the facilities meet all regulatory requirements. Coordinate disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and licensing requirements. Proactively manage and mitigate risks, minimizing downtime, and avoiding breaches or penalties Diploma in Electrical (HC) or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Batchelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering will be advantageous Facilities management qualification will be advantageous Project management qualification will also be advantageous Proven experience in facilities management, project management, and contractor oversight in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance within the healthcare industry such as SANS (10400, 10142), ISO (9001, 18001) & R158 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a focus on quality, time, and budget. Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a focus on team development Between 1 - 3 Years
