Your areas of responsibility:
  • Provide technical expertise and input in respect of equipment specifications, design, construction and installation of new or replacement equipment (PLCs, HMIs & SCADA).
  • Problem-solve instrumentation and control system failures and other issues.
  • Inspect electrical system, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in energy management, optimization, and automation of industrial systems, including utilities equipment (water treatment, thermal oil systems, boilers, compressors etc.
  • Manage all Electrical HV and LV substations and motor control centers to ensure cleanliness and compliant with OHS Act & regulations.
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar qualifications.
  • Recognized Trade Test - Millwright or Electrical or Instrumentation.
  • 5 Years experience in Instrumentation / PLC in an industrial environment with knowledge of motors, industrial wiring, electro-mechanical drives, PLC application hardware and field control devices.
