An opportunity has become available at On Point On Time Solutions in the Projects an Operations Department. Suitably qualified individuals are invited to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

· National Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering.

· Minimum of 10 years of experience in the built environment.

· Minimum of 5 years of waste-water treatment plant experience.

KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS

· Strong understanding of water treatment processes and technologies

· Oversee the entire construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

· Prepare programmes for contract, plan and requisition of labour, materials and equipment

· Prepare / supervise and compile monthly cost reports, monthly plan and labour forecasts and authorises it expenditure

· Site Supervision: Monitor on-site activities to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.

· Supervise the construction team, including site foremen, laborers, and subcontractors

· Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets quality standards and complies with building codes and regulations.

· Monitor construction activity on site to prescribed quality standards.

· Monitor production and make daily progress reports for submission to Line Management.

· Read, understand and explain drawing specifications to Foremen.

· Ensure safety compliances to and promote safe working practices.

· Identify bottlenecks, resolve them and streamline the construction process on site.

· Integrate various resource requirements of production teams on site.

· Monitor, control and improve production and productivity levels on site

· Conduct production planning and integration meetings on site

· Communication: Serve as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, facilitating clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, change orders, and compliance documentation

Coordination with Suppliers: Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials and ensure that supplies are available on-site as needed, avoiding delays in the construction process
