The SGB is looking for an inspiring Foundation Phase Educator who is passionate, resilient, and dedicated to helping every child succeed. The ideal candidate will:

· Continuously improve teaching through feedback and in-class support.

The Educator will receive support from Disas Team and the Collaboration Schools network during a 4-month maternity contract.

Requirements:

  • Recognized at least 3 to 4-year Foundation Phase teaching qualification.
  • CAPS trained.
  • Registered with SACE.
  • Willing to participate in extra-mural activities and the schools teacher development program.
  • Ability to teach in both English (Home Language) and Afrikaans (First Additional Language).
  • Proficient in Google Drive and its apps (Sheets, Forms, Docs, Slides).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Police clearance required.
