Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic Factory Manager to oversee our operations in Olifantsfontein. As a key leader in our team, you will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring product quality, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. Your strategic vision and leadership will play a pivotal role in driving our factorys success and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Implement and streamline production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Be adept at managing staff and addressing team dynamics to ensure smooth factory operations.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and reports to ensure smooth factory operations.
• Be very competent in computer skills, including proficiency in production and inventory management software.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations is a must.
• Ability to effectively manage staff and address issues that may arise in a diverse workforce.
• Bachelors degree in Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Very competent in computer skills and managing paperwork effectively.

Contract Details:

• The successful candidate will be required to sign a 6-month contract to assess the significant impact on current production and workforce performance.
