OVERVIEW

Were looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team at our Oude Westhof Office in the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.

WHAT YOULL BE DOING

The Assistant Accountant supports the finance department by performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, intercompany transactions and reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organised, and able to work effectively in a team environment to support the companys financial and business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Bank and Cash function
  • Fixed Asset Register (FAR)
  • Intercompany transactions
  • Month-end close
  • Stock Management

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To be considered for this position, these are the skills were looking for:

  • Matric/Grade 12 with Maths and Accounting
  • Diploma in Accounting, or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 3- 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Experience working with intercompany transactions is required.
