Duties & Responsibilities To assist in providing an effective and efficient CCTV | Alarm service under the direction of the Security Manager. This will include the following work objectives:
  • To operate and monitor all systems within the control room in and effective and efficient manner.
  • To ensure all work ethics is following the Standing Operating Procedures.
  • Communicate with Security, Police, other agencies, to provide detailed intelligence about suspects such as their appearance, actions, or location.
  • To respond to all alarm activations, CCTV incidents and emergency calls received.
  • To record all events actions in a clear and accurate format using the CCTV control room network platforms.
  • To provide an efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service when dealing with a vast array of issues under pressure from residents and clients
Skills and Competencies
  • Must be able to work shifts - 12 hours.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Computer - experience in MS word, Outlook, and intermediate PC literacy
  • Good Typing skills
  • CCTV monitoring experience (non- negotiable)
  • Alarm monitoring experience (non- negotiable)
  • Able to function well under pressure | Strength and patience.
  • Excellent communication skill to collaborate with other agencies | residences.
  • An analytical mind with critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 - Matric
  • Valid PSIRA - GRADE B Certification (non -negotiable)
  • Clear criminal record
